9.5" Cover with 11" Carbon Fiber Clutch

All billet construction.

This makes one sound funny. DW

This is a 30 spline axle with a 'C' clip eliminator kit installed. This one will fit any BRX. Ol DW

Girdles such as this TA unit that allow pre-load on the side bearing caps, are said to help prevent the pinion gear from walking the ring gear. This occurs in hard launches when traction is good and the maximum amount of flex is present. DW

This is an RJC Head Clamp installed on the drivers side of an engine with Champion aluminum heads. The bottom (lower) side of the head has three extra mounting holes for head bolts if the block has them. The Clamp allows the use of these holes on 109 and other 3.8/4.1 blocks by attaching to the block just under the bores, on two factory cast indexing lugs. The Clamp has set screws that are torqued to simulate head bolts. This makes an 8 bolt head into an 11 bolt head to help keep the head gasket in place on the bottom (lower) side. DW

This close-up of the passenger side shows one of the set screws in the notch of the header flange. The flange is notched in the three places for clearance. DW

This shows the Clamp behind the header after mounting. DW

Nail Head Water Pump

Note the number of impellers on the pumps. The three impeller pump is for 'non-air' cars, the five impeller is for 'air cars'. For best cooling the three impeller is the best choice for both applications. (experience and www.nailheads.com ). The waterpump pulley for 'air cars' is 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 inch, with 6 1/2 inch crank pulley, while the 'non air cars' use a 6 inch waterpump pulley and a 6 inch crank pulley. These were measured from my 65 GS Skylarks. Both have 4 core brass radiators and thermal/clutch fans. Dick W.

Speed Pro Forged vs JE Custom, just to show features. (not same application) DW

This just shows the difference in pin height for stock stroke, stock rod, vs stroker 3.590 and 6.5 rod. DW

Another view to show difference overall height and ring package. DW
